The sun always shines in Australia!
If you follow my blogs you may remember that we stopped off in Sydney before and after our adventures in New Zealand. It’s been quite a while now – 6 months to be precise.
As we now pass into autumn with misty mornings, chilly days and changing leaves I have begun to reflect on the difference in Australia in April just as they moved into Autumn. An autumn day in Sydney is like an ideal summers day in the UK!
So here are some of my pics from Manly (a suburb of Sydney, 30 mins by ferry from the city). We stayed in Manly to be close to my brother and his gorgeous family, who are lucky enough to live in this beautiful place.
On the short walk from Manly Beach to Shelly Beach (Cabbage Tree Bay – the only west facing bay on Australia’s east coast) there are eleven sculptures of the unique marine life, plants, animals and history.
On our last morning before flying home I went out early with my beloved Lensbaby to take a few last shots.
A bit of kayaking from the beach before setting off to work for the day!
And a family pic to finish with. Me, my brother and his gorgeous kids.
