Last Saturday in the steamy 28°C heat. The Shakespeare Hospice held their annual fete in Stratford upon Avon. Even on such a sweaty day, when they may have prefered relaxing in the shade with a cool drink, their enthusiasm was as infectious as ever. It’s a huge pleasure to be able to capture the atmosphere of events for them and I’m very thankful to be able to do so. The general feeling at the hospice is always so positive it can be easy to forget why it’s necessary for them to plan all these events. It was brought home to me again, reading some of the quotes tied up in the trees and the messages hanging in the memory tree. They really do offer the most incredible service with a fantastic team. The fact that all of this is provided free of charge and funded entirely by the charity never ceases to amaze me.
