You’re based in Warwickshire, how far do you travel?

I live in Stratford-upon-Avon which is quite central with good access to the major motorways. I am happy to travel anywhere in the UK and welcome the opportunity to travel abroad.  Travel expenses are added for long distances and overseas destinations.

What’s your style for wedding photography?

My style is a mixture of documentary and contemporary classic. Hopefully you get a sense of this from looking at the images on the site. My approach is calm, and unobtrusive. I’m happiest observing and snapping away in the background, capturing the scenes and moments as they reveal to me. Natural and unposed. This documentary style would be my approach for the majority of the day. I have a relaxed, contemporary style for the couples images.

Do you take formal family groups shots?

Organising a few formal group shots is time well spent. It would be a shame to miss the opportunity while you have all the people who are special to you together.  I find it’s best to keep these to a minimum so you can get on with enjoying your day. We will discuss beforehand what you feel are the essential images for you.

How many images will we get?

Every wedding is different so it’s hard to give a number. There is no limit though. During editing I reject the ones that don’t meet my quality standards and you get everything else. The quantity varies greatly depending on the size and location of the wedding. Although I would expect to provide around 500 images from a full day, I’m more focused on quality than quantity.

Will we get the option of black and white photographs?

I photograph in colour and decide during editing if certain photos would also look good in black+white or a creative colour edit, guided by the style of your wedding. If there are some favourites that you’d like to have in black+white that’s fine, just ask.

Do we need a second photographer?

It’s not usually necessary but if you would like a second photographer it can be arranged for an additional fee.  I sometimes work with an assistant to help with the kit and be another pair of eyes. They will often take some pictures too, which may give you a few extras from different angles.

Can our guests take pictures too?

Absolutely. Your guests can take as many pictures as they like, it’s great to get lots of different perspectives from the day.  But I would recommend asking people not to take pictures during the ceremony as it can be very distracting.

How soon after the wedding will we be able to see our photos?

I take great care individually editing your images which takes time. I aim to get a few ‘rushes’ to you within a few days and to have the full gallery available to view within 2 weeks. The gallery will be password protected for you to share with your family and friends.

How will we receive our images and can we print pictures ourselves?

Your images will be supplied to you, without watermarks, on a USB stick in high resolution for print and also suitable resolution for viewing on screen.  You can print from the high resolution files as much as you like and share the low resolution via email or on social media.

How do we book?

As long as the date is available I just need a £200 deposit to secure the booking. There will be a short booking form to complete with your essential information and an agreement that we will both sign.  The balance of payment is due 4 weeks before the wedding.

Are you insured?

I have full professional indemnity and public liability insurance covering myself and any assistants that may be working for me.
