This year I fell in love…
Yes OK, that headline was used to get your attention! But it is true. This year I fell in love… with skiing – who would ever have imagined hearing me say that! And with a new family member – our youngest son asked his gorgeous girlfriend to marry him. Exciting times ahead!
So 2016, it’s been quite a year.
I’ve worked with old clients and new, on an interesting variety of commercial assignments. Had a great day with the team from Black+White Photography Magazine. And was also reminded how much fun it is to photograph weddings!
In between there’s been quite a bit of travel too – France (twice, soon to be three times), Morocco (our first visit. What an incredible place!), Holland (very briefly) & Australia (our second trip down under, for a family reunion).
COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY HIGHLIGHTS:
QHotels – Events industry forums.
Special events with one of my favourite clients, Warwick Events. Stage fighting workshop was a fun afternoon before an elegant awards dinner at Warwick Castle.
MADE.com – promoting products using real homes.
Glantre Engineering – Major installation at Royal Spa Centre.
Visit to Rathfinny Estate with Black + White Photography Magazine (see full blog from the visit.)
A Casino style reception party in Stratford upon Avon.
Having the great pleasure to work with my good friend Chris Fossey on a gorgeous Warwickshire barn wedding reminded me how rewarding it is to capture the emotion and atmosphere of a wedding! A beautiful summer’s day with a lovely bunch of people.
France at the beginning of January. A large circle route taking us via Meribel in the Alps, (and our first ever time on skis!), down to Marseille, the Camargue and almost to the Spanish border. Then a long journey straight back up to the UK to be extras in a film! But that’s another story…
Back in Meribel in April. More skiing and a proposal!
Amsterdam – also blogged earlier in the year Amsterdam snaps
Autumn in the UK meant lovely Spring weather in Australia. Perfect timing to visit family in Sydney.
